Saw an article this morning on MSN on internet that listed the drunkest city in each state. Guess which city was listed for Ky. LOUISVILLE Is anyone surprised? As Whoregate is prolonged, they may get even drunker.

Getting a little nitpicky are you? Louisville is a pretty big city and has a lot of bars and good night life.
It also makes sense when you consider of Kentucky's 120 counties 39 are Dry counties so you're already down to 81. In fact there are only 32 wet counties in Kentucky with the remaining 49 counties being moist. By population size alone Louisville has to win.

People overstating larger cities. Shouldn't matter. More drunks doesn't mean drunkest city, because there are also more people who don't drink.
If we are going by total numbers, sure, Chicago, NYC and Louisville win.. but why not just rename the article "Largest populated cities in each state"?
In New York, I'd bet Buffalo takes 1st place. Drunkest NFL fans... super cold.. hit hard by recession.

Louisville has been rumored to be BOTH very wet and moist during the past few years. No brainer!!!
I'd be getting drunk, too, if I had to support an athletic department as tacky and embarrassing as theirs.
The article on MSN stated that it used the percent of problem drinkers per capita, not the total of drinkers. I'm new to this board so I don't know how to link articles.
Is that was it is? Doesn't surprise me, I guess. Kingston/Newburgh/Poughkeepsie area is the pits
