Did MJ say that there is "90% chance"...

Small reward IMO.....we need to hear from the big fish to get the fan base enthusiastic for next year.
This JUCO rumor reminds me of a Tubby type signing when you can't get the big ones.

Yeah, we need some big fish. If only we had 3 McDonald's all-americans returning, each with final-four experience. If only we had the #1 (or 1a) recruit already signed. If only we had the most impressive point guard from the all-star circuit signed. If only we had a defensive specialist signed who already has chemistry with Ulis from AAU.

I agree. If only we could sign a "big fish" then I would get excited about next year.

Did he play one year in juco or 2?

If Cal gets him, and then one of murray, newman, brown, ingram, or diallo, then you got to call this a success based on what has happened because now you can field a competitive team that is athletic, skilled, and still pretty deep.

Well played. Comments like the one you responded to make me think of rich people on a yacht complaining that the cavier isn't quite fresh enough......What is it about human nature that allows you to go from salivating over the prosepect of getting an 8th grader no one has heard of in 2008 to complaining that we don't have quite enough all americans in 2015?.....

I hope we get Mulder and then Cal channels some Coach K style begging and pleading that convinces Murray to reclassify. Seems like a longshot on that last one, we always get really great classes but we're never really able to pull off neat little tricks like that the way certain other programs are. That would be a big time Swaggy Cal counterstrike if he can pull it off, though.

Mulder averages 16 and 7 & shot 45% from 3 on a team whose coach says will have 7 guys playin division 1 ball. I'm not saying he'll be a star by any means, but from what I've seen and read, I do believe he'll be a solid contributor.
