Your post is pointless. You provide no points relevant to why he has not been cleared. It certainly isn't in the interests of the NCAA to keep such a touted player ineligible. There must be an issue or he would be ready to play. Post all the relevant facts from his entire high school curriculum that show him to be eligible. His intelligence is irrelevant, as well as work completed at, cough, bread co. says we have lots of national titles, university.
Aside, if you're concerned for the kid, rest easy. He can study this year and will be drafted if he chooses regardless if he plays college bball. He can also go play for money now elsewhere.
I wonder if you expressed similar concerns regarding Kanter? Point being he was not harmed by the situation, UK was. So take your boo hoo "it's about what's fair for the kid" elsewhere.
And shove your shame on you up your a$$.
How old are you?
I am a Kentucky fan, moron. Read the board to verify.
The point of my posts are that this is an NCAA issue only. They suck and have a remarkably poor history when comes to foreign-born players. They don't care much one way or another because they still get their billions, no matter who's eligible. And who's not. as you, a reputed Kentucky fan, should well know.
And he is most certainly harmed by not playing. To insist otherwise is to ignore the reality of competition and recency bias that exists in the NBA Draft. It's hurting the kid because, frankly, this wouldn't happen to a kid born here in America. It hurts the kid because it can hurt his draft stock. This hurts the fans who like to see good basketball played by the best in the world.
It doesn't seem to hurt juvenile idiots who can't read and comprehend basic logic, though.
So that's good, I guess.
