Just go in to Rupp and everything will be alright. Most overrated arena in college basketball.Originally posted by LineSkiCat:

YUP, we're just soooo horrible at home. How many games we lost at home since Cal's been here buddy?Originally posted by lakercat:

With the talent that Kentucky has, they'd better have a 90 percent winning percentage. Don't look at the W-L; everyone has a winning record at home (Duke hasn't lost an OOC home game since 1999-2000). Read into what I am saying; I understand that most people are unable to use intuition and deductive logic when reading things, but think about what I wrote. I never wrote that Kentucky is so terrible at home (they did lose 6 games in BCG's last year). How many teams come into Rupp and shoot lights out; how many players come in and have a career night? That doesn't happen at Cameron; that doesn't happen at the Phog; that doesn't happen at the O-dome; obviously there are rarities, but seems like someone lights up Rupp at least five times a year, regardless of whether Kentucky wins or loses.Originally posted by CatDaddy4daWin:

We have UL and UNC coming into Rupp every other year each. When is the last time Duke had any team with a pulse come into Cameron in the OOC.Originally posted by lakercat:

At least someone gets it....Originally posted by LineSkiCat:
It's not that we suck at home.. we play fine for the most part. This game has some rust on it, as to be expected. I think what Lakercat is saying is that Rupp Arena doesn't seem to strike fear into the opponents as other top tier programs do (or venues, think The Pit). I can't disagree, opposing players go off all the time it seems. Not sure what it exactly is.
And Devan Downy 2.0 with 19.. btw.
