I would love this move. Hire someone who still believes the name on the front of the jersey means something. Cal wil never do it though. DA is too well thought of and too much competition that it wouldn't let this be Cal's world and we just watch it take place.

Met DA briefly in an elevator in downtown Louisville. He was wearing his ‘97 NCAAT runner up ring. I leaned over to take a closer look, he smiled at me and said it should’ve been the championship ring.

Maybe it would have been different if he had played, after he had even been cleared by doctors to play. He decided to protect his nba future instead. I think he may have shot some technical free throws in the semis, but that was all he was willing to do.
