Dan Kane: UNCheat Continues To Lawyer Up

You know what is really funny/sad about all of this? UNC is working so hard and spending so much money just to protect records. Yes, I know history/stats/records are important, and I am not saying any other school would act differently, but from a societal perspective this is pretty ridiculous.

Yep.. Most unbelievable part of all this is that no one in a position of leadership has stood up to say, "it's just sports."

How much more money are they going to spend on their cover-up attempt? The moral of the story: Basketball is VERY important to the University of North Carolina.

Definitely proves there is ALOT to hide.

Those transcripts are very much in play apparently.

So does UNC try to keep the NCAA out of its business with threats?

This is getting very interesting.

No wonder they had to have Fats provide the Wheels for Heels, they're spending all their cash on PR and law firms.

No other college has ever behaved this way when confronted with a scandal , some have tried to refute the claims but they all eventually adhered to the rules that all are supposed to be governed by . UNC is a rogue school that loved being known as the fairest but when it was discovered that they are the dirtiest , UNC has no honor and tries to circumvent the rules .

UNC**** would be a good fit for a role in Will's classic tale.

I would be embarassed and ashamed to call myself a UNCheat fan. They are the Deity of Dirt. They have no morals, ethics or shame.

It's my understanding, UNC already is having difficulty attracting elite professors to their university. Spending millions of dollars to protect their sports image will do very little to lure top professors to their school, whose academic integrity has already been tainted. Even if they could lure top academics in their field, UNC won't have the finances to support their salaries. Sadly, UNC is willing to sacrifice academic excellence to preserve athletic shame.

This is a sure sign of guilt. They are pulling in outside people to help them sweep this under the rug with big money.
Wonder if they could just pay like 30 million to the NCAA and tell them to go away?

They probably aren't just hiring lawyers for sports. Have to remember they are in trouble with SACS regarding their accreditation as well.
