Good morning from ATX. Currently 35°F and cloudy. Today's high expected around 64°F.

Classic trap game last night. Glad our Cats won.

Wishing y'all a great day.

Here's Puma World HQ at Herzogenaurach, Germany.

Good morning folks. Lackluster outing for the Cats.

I suspect after the early lead against a weak team with no real chance to win, Pope decided two things: 1. See if Perry or Chandler can play real minutes yet (no.) 2. Don’t show anything the Cats plan to use in the Louisville game.

Do need a point guard and that means Butler back and 100 percent. I think he plays against Louisville but not sure he’s all the way back.

Last work day downtown this week. Nice sunrise visible from the subway. Another beautiful day. Hope you all enjoy it.

NCAA president says they're making progress in expanding the NCAA basketball tournament to 72-76 teams. I am not a fan of this. Leave it be. Personally, I'm not a fan of the play-in games either.
Nor am I. The NCAA is a bad organization. Get rid of them and the large conference do their own tourney and stop the money flow to Indianapolis.

Sunny and a cold 30°F here on our way to 41°.

I posted this on the political thread, but thought some on here might want to see it. A SS agent missed would be assassin 6 times at 5 feet.

Had my knee replacement this a.m. So far, so good. Good range of motion immediately - sit on the john easily, pickup items from floor. Very little pain. BUT, the nerve block is still active. See what tomorrow brings.
I'm just taking Tylenol to ward off pain. Very little to zero pain. Walking around house w/o walker though not great. First therapy tomorrow.

Good morning folks. Working from home today. And I'm alone for the weekend -- my wife is off visiting her college roommate in North Carolina and I was happy to pass on that chore, citing my workload.

Her college roommate is one of those people who is interesting and lively and engaging for the first 20 minutes, then will talk six hours straight with steadily diminishing returns. But my wife enjoys her company, so bon voyage.

My son is finishing up his job in Arizona., He's actually living across the border in a town called Blythe, California, and driving back into Arizona every day. It's an eerie place. He sent us a photo yesterday of coyotes lurking around some ten-foot tall cacti.

Louisville game tomorrow. I hope Butler is not only back but able to play at a high level. I'm always nervous about this game.

Have a good day folks.

The bloom is off the rose some. Knee swelled after first day of walking as ordered. Surgeon says it’s expected. Therapist said same. Feels improved after therapy. Wore me out. Took good nap. Hopefully I’ll move forward from here.

IT'S GAME DAYEEYAYEEYAYEEYAY!

Glad it is played later in the day today. Wife wants to go eating and shopping for the earlier part of the day. However, it does not really matter, if the game were earlier, I would not go out with her and my daughter. This is a must-see game.

You folks enjoy your day and
GO CATS!

God Bless.

Going with Family to see lights at Opryland Hotel so going to miss the game. Could have gone tomorrow but that plan didn’t work out. Go Cats!!
Years ago a guy from California called us. He had bought lamp shades from China to replace all the shades at the Opryland Hotel and something was wrong with them. I didn't even ask what. He wanted me to take a crew to Nashville and fix them. I told him no way.. Don't know what he or Opryland did about it.

Hello folks. Happy Saturday.

Bright clear and bitterly cold in the east. Just back from my long weekend run. It was freezing.

I’m a bit nervous about the Cats having to face Louisville with Kriisa out and Butler either out or not 100 percent. This is a significantly better Little Brother team and coach than in recent years.

Hope it’s a good day for everyone.
