Oh I know what you meant. Should have made that clear. My bad.

But I wanted to get this into the thread.

Yeah, I take offense quickly when anyone bashes Cuz. (You weren't but I was being obtuse.) That kid is top notch. (My youngest is older than he is, I can call him a kid.) You cannot turn from night to day like some that post on here says he does. You just cannot do it.) He is always doing something out of the spotlight to help others. He is always doing something I wish I could do. He puts his dough where his heart is. No way you can be a thug like some call him. Even our supposed fans.

Yep, I go overboard about Cuz but someone has to. might as well be me.

I watch Cuz play ball and I just bet some of his antics on the court are directly due to his team losing and he wants those that are paying him to win. He takes that very serious and I'd say he gets fighting mad. (He very probably is defending his employer but going about it in the wrong way at times.) I'll take that all day and twice on Sunday. be Good...

I love Big Cuz, but let's be honest. If he had played at U of L, he'd be Public Enemy Number One around here. We get to see the really good person behind the bully on the court, and he is a bully on the court. I thought he was going to start a fight in the UK/UNC alumni game. At this point I'm done hoping he can tone that down. It's who he is, and it fuels him. Hopefully in Rondo he has finally found a top tier teammate who can work with that and bring out his best. And then he can suplex Barkley some day.

i gotta get up to one of those games. only an 8 hour drive i have no excuse.

Okay, let's be honest. He didn't pick UofL expressly because of who he is. Hypothetical's may get the answer some may want but I prefer using what actually happened. He chose the Cats and is who he is. Making or making up who he is or is not won't help his cause...He will be fine. At the end of the day Cuz will be standing and his detractor's won't. On that I will bank.

All I was saying is that his on court behavior makes it really hard for people to see the good guy he is off it. We love him because he played for us, and we know what a good guy he is. But I don't blame UNC fans who call him a thug because, honestly, that's what I would say if I was in their shoes. A lot of Indiana people say the same thing about Bob Knight. That behind the scenes he helps a lot of people without wanting any attention for it. But you and I see the jackass chair thrower.

Can they convince Bill Simmons the Kings can put it together?

Sac Kings had the 4th, 5th, 7th, 5th, 7th, 8th and 6th overall picks heading into the last 7 drafts... and they're gonna suck again.

I agree in part but he is a jackass chair thrower. Bob Knight was not one doing a lot of good behind the scenes. (Just talking about him in general. (No pun intended.)) He was always out for what is best for him. He made no bones about it. I also am aware of his military persona but that was a facade in a lot of ways too. People used that perceived background to allow him to be a lot of who he was/is (They made excuses for him.) Knight was not a gung-ho Marine. I'm not making excuses for Cuz. All I am saying is history will tell who Cuz is. History showed who Knight was...it took some time too but it did. (I doubt Bobby would have lasted as long with the current media available today.) No bad on your part, just conversing. Be Good

Of course Rondo also had 7 turnovers last night, but he's always going to be a fairly high turnover player, sometimes he just goes insane with a 5+ turnover game (like against SA a couple weeks ago he had 9)

got em both on my fantasy team [smoke]

No way Rondo wasn't gonna average 8+ assists on a team with Gay and Cousins.

Let's see....Mt. Juliet...wasn't that Jake and Elwood...no that was Joliet. Did you make a mistake or did I?o_O
