Could the so called "new tweak" be the problem.....

This may have been covered in another post but I fail to find it so here goes.

Supposedly the new tweak had something to do with the guards driving more to the rim. It does seem we are seeing a bit more of that, especially by Andrew. At the same time, we are rarely seeing the "lob" anymore. This basically has taken away one of our best if not the best weapons. It also may be having an effect on the play of our bigs down low. Now that the space must be made to allow the drive to the basket by the guards, Willie and the others just don't look comfortable in the half court sets as they did before the tweak. Just a thought, but it seems to be very coincidental to me. Anybody seem to feel the way I do?

The lob is not there as much because...shocking....teams are taking it away.

They want our guards to shoot 3's all day and settle for perimeter shots.

And our guards, other than Andrew, have not really driven much at all that I have seen, except on fast breaks off turnovers.

No. Don't put the whole farm on two games. Just watch them play...two months from now they'll be fine

Exactly. That's what got Andrew in trouble against Louisville. Teams are now playing the lob when he drives.

If Andrew wasn't so horrible at layups, he'd be all right. The guy just misses bunnies left and right.
