I'm like CB3 ... I I think he is pushing the envelope to get a short-term contract especially if he makes a CWS
If they can't get who they really want right now then it makes plenty of sense to just see how Henderson does for a bit. However, if you can get McDonnell now then you do it.

Miss State, LSU, South Carolina were all brand names, UK had a better Resume than these 3 teams and deserved a bid overall 3 teams. Don't give a crap bout the unbalanced SEC schedule, which is the main excuse used by the committee. UK beat Miss State and South Carolina head to head. Frankly, all 4 teams should have been in. Mingione made a good point that 42 0f the 43 highest RPI teams got in skipping UK at #30. It is a real fact that the committee did not want 11 SEC teams in the tournament and tried to limit the SEC in the CWS by bunching the top SEC teams in the left bracket so that they would have to play each other before the CWS.
Absolutely totally bogus by the committee and they should be ashamed of themselves... You think they would ever consider doing this for NCAA basketball to the ACC?
Actually the bracket bunching had more to do with teams from California and Washington not being allowed to participate in regionals in states like Mississippi, North Carolina and Texas than some bogus internet myth of bias against the SEC.
If you get assigned to play in a state that your snowflakes refuse to play in, that's on you. Move on to the next team eligible. That'd stop that stupid shit.
