College hoops attendance dips again in 2016-17; Kentucky #1

Winning attendance is like the UK cheerleaders winning the championship. Its a tradition. Go ahead and mark it down for the next 20 years.
Rupp could sell 50,000 season tickets if the place held that many. Id buy season tickets at the nose bleed level for a few hundred.

Wonder how many of those top20 programs Kansas thinks they'll get. Probably 18, maybe 19. They'll be here to tell us soon, for sure.

Most colleges have priced themselves way higher than is reasonable. Lower the price and peaople will attend.

Psst...

UK will it again on 2018. And 2019. And the next year. And the 10 after that.

Because the only school that can beat em is Syracuse and Syracuse is gonna start sucking consistently really soon.

Over 1000 below capacity average for UL. Nearly 4000 below capacity for UNC. Syracuse has nearly unlimited capacity. UK was 39 tickets per game shy of averaging a sell out. Nobody else is like us.

Maryland, Alabama and LSU had the largest year-over-year bumps, with Maryland bringing in 5,169 more fans per game than 2015-16. That's nearly double Alabama's second-place increase of 2,934. LSU was up 2,485 per game in the first season after Ben Simmons.

We're baaaaack
