Coach Marrow Tweet

In 2002, under Morriss we had 0 5-star; 1 4-star (Reynolds); 1 3-star (Bernard); 12 2-stars and 1 1-star (Driver)
In 7 years under Brooks: 7 4-stars; 57 3-stars; 90 2-stars; 1 Top 250 player (Johnson)
In 3 years under Joker: 3 4-stars; 60 3-stars; 13 2-stars (found this very surprising); 1 Top 250 (Faulkner)
In 7 classes under CMS (so far): 1 5-star; 30 4-stars; 113 3-stars and 17 2-stars including 14 Top 250 players (includes transfers Heard and Price).

The most telling (IMO) is the top 50 at their position:
Morris - 0
Brooks - 35 (5.0 per yr avg)
Joker - 17 (5.7 avg)
Stoops - 76 (10.9 avg)

Star ratings may or may not have inflated over the 18 years Rivals has kept them (someone else can do the research and debate), but the "Top 50" at each position hasn't.

Cutting bridges doesn't make sense to me, he may hate Nebraska and want to come home in the spring. Demetrius Robertson spurned UGA, and signed with Cal, was a FROSH AA, and wanted to come home. Kirby welcomed him back, he suffered a bad concussion and didn't play much, but he will be out fastest receiver next fall, ran a 10.3 at Cal. If Kirby had washed his hands of the kid when he chose Cal, we would be playing against him,. You never know what tomorrow will bring, don't burn bridges.
