Before the Clemson game, Penn State was averaging 95 points/game through six games, and had a top 5 offense.

Clemson held them to 67 points, forced 17 turnovers, and held them to 4/18 from three point range.

It's going to be an all-out war next week at Clemson. They're holding opponents to 63 points per game.

Yes they did average that much, like UK and both mostly against lesser competition. Before Clemson they had played Va Tech and the rest are way less competition.

UK against others are avg 100 pts. Duke and WKU average is about 82 a game.

Not saying Clemson is not legit but offensive numbers this time of year can be deceiving.

Auburn might be the only team or one of the only teams with legit offense numbers. Playing Houston, UNC and such.

Picking nits, but Penn St hasn’t played Purdue. They did put a beat down on Virginia Tech though.

Obviously any road game against a halfway decent P4 team is going to be very tough.

UK will still force tempo against Clemson and get the team scoring into the above-80 range, but it will be a dogfight. UK will win the game, but it will probably get ugly at times, which is good because they need a difficult game before they travel to Gonzaga.
