He should be their next call up. He is a main event star and if booked right, have some good feuds with Gunther, Bron and Jacob Fatu.
I get why people want to be rich but I wouldn't want to be famous for anything.
Just fired up this week's Dark Side on The Sheik and right off the bat you get a bit of Sabu speaking. Kind of eerie.
I never go to signings or conventions but I'm a horror fan so I've heard tale of fans who apparently don't wear deodorant and just sweat and stink up the place. Then you've got these bizarre porn star conventions in places like Vegas and I can't imagine who goes to those. There's just a section of every fanbase, no matter what the topic is, that doesn't understand how to act in public. It's not a good thing to be a "stan" despite what social media says. 'Stan' refers to the obsessive fan who kills himself and his pregnant gf in the infamous Eminem video. Somehow that got twisted into a positive thing to call yourself if you're obsessed with something.

Finally feel like we are getting those next batch of main event stars we’ve been waiting for that will carry the brand for the next several years.

I was trying to figure out what happened there too. Last I saw was Ric Flair speaking about Mongo with his wife on the stage. Gone to the movie after that.
They just rebranded Max back to HBO Max, which it was originally. You don't rebrand the name of your thing if it's having lots of success. What I'm saying is, it's a clown show over at WBD and it's astonishing how much they've screwed with AEW programming over the last couple years. Sound issues, tech issues, moving Collision around more times than I can count. Just crazy.
From what I saw online this was a taped show and even the max feed at 9:30 it said “this program has ended” - definitely not a good evening for them.
USA Network never mistakenly ended Raw a half hour early for Silk Stalkings. Just sayin'.
Give me the opening credits of Silk Stalkings but combined with the actual La Femme Nikita show. That's the ticket.
Everyone and their mother was saying dropping the HBO branding was a bad idea. The ego and stupidity of people who think they know better than everyone just because they have a title and a bunch of 0s in their paycheck is truly astounding at times.
Would be like Disney dropping “ESPN” from ESPN+. Or the NFL dropping “NFL” from NFL RedZone. Or the NBA dropping “NBA” from NBA League Pass.
I don’t know how they managed to screw up a pre-recorded episode. ****ing amateur hour operation. WBD has been a clown show of a company ever since David Zaslav got there. No wonder the NBA dropped their asses.

Some people are saying the full collision isn’t on max yet still - could be outdated but regardless big time blunder.

Nobody knows (maybe dragon does) but it literally said technical difficulties on the tnt crawl when they pre-empted at 930 and started the movie early.
I don't think it's an ongoing conspiracy nor do I believe this is the beginning of the end of the AEW/WBD relationship. But I don't believe the SRS/Fightful talking point that WBD is over the moon and overflowing with joy to have AEW and the partnership is like Romeo and Juliet but 1,000x more passionate. These ongoing issues don't happen with Turner's most successful shows and on HBO Max, The White Lotus, The Last of Us, The Righteous Gemstones, and The Pitt are always front and center and super easy to find. You also don't find these issues during March Madness.
I believe WBD is pleased with AEW and likes them having a dedicated fanbase. I think AEW isn't really high on the WBD totem pole and because of that dedicated base, they know they're not going anywhere if there's repeated issues or the B show gets cut a half hour early.
Maybe I'm completely wrong but on one side I see SRS talk about this unbelievable relationship and on the other side I see AEW sometimes treated like the step kid the parents are fine with but wishes he'd go outside and leave them alone.

They wouldn’t have given them a huge increase on the tv deal if they weren’t happy.
That’s like saying if you are merely pleased with a local restaurant that you’re going to voluntarily start paying them more than 2x what the current sticker price is for the food just because.
That Saturday show is a free co-production between Action Wrestling and AEW in honor of some guy named Dean Rasmussen who used to write for wrestling website DVDVR.
Supposed to be held in the parking lot of the arena where Double or Nothing is being hosted. This is the second edition of the show, AEW wasn’t associated with the first one.

I got really lucky. Tornadoes hit basically in all directions from me, one as close as about a half mile. I lost a tree, but other than that, I’m perfectly fine. Except for no cable and internet two days later lol. It’s really rough down here.
I don’t have that channel - guessing they’ll debut on nxt and get a couple wins and hbk will gauge their work/reaction from crowd and go from there?
The LFG show was airing on A&E. Last time I checked it was doing half the ratings of AEW Rampage. Nonetheless season two starts up in late June. The most notable thing about it was Undertaker allegedly getting Mickie James removed from the show in favor of his wife.

As someone who's worked in TV pretty much my whole life I've never seen a supposed major TV cable channel have as many problems as as there has been with AEW.
Almost two days later they finally have the complete show available to watch on the TNT app, but not yet on Max.
I think Dragon said it earlier but pretty much everyone thought taking the HBO out of HBO Max was one of the dumbest ideas ever.
