When he brought the dwarf out to the ring to make fun of Daniel Bryan Cass was only supposed to boot him once. Cass was told not to beat him up anymore by the story folks. He appealed to Vince who told him no. He booted the dwarf and then pounded him. Don't cross Vince.

Don't even touch Vince unless given permission as Titus O'Niell found out with his suspension.

I just don't get that story. Like, I understand he's an underneath guy disobeying orders, but he didn't go out there and cut a shoot promo or something. He just did something a little extra, that was still within the story.

I think it says a lot about how controlled the environment is and how it confirms what everyone thinks about why the product is trash

Pummeling midgets is so not PC.

Was always a big fan of Vader, RIP That match against Sting is one of my favorites.

Another famous Vader match, the one against Stan Hansen.

I saw Mick Foley and Vader at Lexington Comic Con several years ago because it was the 20th anniversary of their match that cost Mick Foley his ear. Foley said that it wasn't uncommon for new wrestlers to walk on to the sound stage where they taped WCW Saturday Night, see they were matched with Vader, and then just quit the business altogether. And no one ever thought less of them.

Was stiffer than Peter North’s pecker on a porn set circa 2001.

What I heard was the midget was the one that wanted the extra beating and that’s why Cass asked to do it. So he knew it was coming. That, an incident on a plane and he had a little heat backstage were the reasons I saw. Not Enzo heat but some. But management was still supposedly high on him. It just seems weird being out of no where. Something big had to have happened to go from wrestling Bryan at MIB on Sunday to being let go just a day or two later. And the wwe website just said “wwe has released William Morrissey” or something like that. It wasn’t the usual thing they say when letting someone go.

Guess they had to let him go to pay for Ellsworth lol.

Cass will be back eventually. Bam Bam Bigelow had to be humbled by Andre his 1st time thru WWF before being BAM BAM his 2nd time with the company. For you younger guys, see Drew McIntyre.

Bam Bam was already established before his WWF runs.

He is also an underrated big.
Yes he was already established. But he arrived with an attitude the 1st run. 2nd time was the charm.

I expect Keith Lee to be Bam Bam’s 2nd run for WWE. Just a big, genial guy who loves the business and can move like a cruiser weight.

Somebody tell him to stay away from the Clique then.

"We love Bammer, we want him on our side, give him a main event push."

*King of the Ring 1995 happens*

"Bammer's fault. We tried to tell you he wasn't ready."

^That's supposed to be Kevin Nash, but it's hard to have his level of smugness come across in text form.

Bret was so good at this deadpan, dry humor. It's part of what his serious heel stuff work. He could have evolved into a Jericho type character if he stayed in WWF. Basically, his El Dandy promo but with an actual angle and company that people cared about.

Love Bret

So New Japan announced the card for the show in San Francisco on July 7th..

IWGP Champion Kenny Omega vs. Cody.

IWGP Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks vs. EVIL & SANADA.

IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Jay White vs. Juice Robinson.

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi vs. Dragon Lee.

Kazuchika Okada & Will Ospreay vs. Tetsuya Naito & BUSHI.

NEVER Openweight Champion Hirooki Goto vs. Jeff Cobb.

Hiroshi Tanahashi & KUSHIDA vs. Adam "Hangman" Page & Marty Scurll.

Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano vs. Minoru Suzuki & Zack Sabre Jr.

YOSHI-HASHI & Gedo & Rocky Romero & Roppongi 3KSHO & YOH vs. King Haku & The Guerrillas of Destiny & Yujiro Takahashi & Chase Owens.

Notice Jericho isn't wrestling, I had read somewhere he wouldn't wrestle in the US for anyone but WWE.

Bret was a really great actor. You ever see Lonesome Dove?

The sell was honestly really good. She could have crumpled in pain and squalled like a baby, but she kept that contorted position like Bret getting rammed into the ring post.

Good for her [thumb2]

Didn't Fit Finlay almost lose a leg because WCW bought the wrong type of table?
From Wiki...

"He legitimately suffered a badly lacerated nerve in his leg during a hardcore match at a house show in Jackson, Mississippi on 25 July 1999, which nearly cost him use of the leg.[7][9] As he was wrestling Brian Knobbs, he was thrown into a table in the corner of the ring, causing it to shatter and the shards to cut into his leg."

You're probably right about the table, but screw it, I'm blaming Knobbs.

That looks like one of those Rubbermaid hard rubber tables. Yokozuna wouldn't break that with a banzai drop.
