According to the Rupp Statement, the manufacturer agreed the product was bad. These UK statements are being quite cautious about avoiding any indication of who’s at fault here.
But someone obviously is. Did UK order the wrong product? Or was it a defective delivery?

Maybe we can sell it to themAccording to the Rupp Statement, the manufacturer agreed the product was bad.
Funny, wonder if UNCW would agree?
Cal is picking up the tabWonder what that cost?
I don't like using "bad court" as an excuse for a loss. And this is how it will be spun by rival media for sure.Maybe we can sell it to them
😂, it didn’t do anything wrong either. If it was Louisville’s new floor, it would release a statement saying it isn’t going anywhere.
Robbins is top of the line for wood gymnasium floors. They are also a great company to work with. I have no doubt there were issues that UK noticed and Robbin’s agreed to replace the floor. These UK statements are being cautious about avoiding saying who’s at fault here.

I’ll throw a guess out there. I’m assuming it acclimated to the climate at the Robbin’s factory while it was laid out there and when it was transitioned to Rupp, something happened and it didn’t quite fit together how they felt it should. If it was just the finish, they could strip that, but it sounds like it’s a completely new floor they will be getting.Anyone care to speculate what was wrong with it?
I’m curious to know as well. Figure the players had to have said something after the game because that has been the only game played there unless of course the women’s team also played a game. Even then, that is still a very small sample size to judge the performance on the floor. Just seems very weird to mecertainly don’t recall there being a slipping issue of any kindAnyone care to speculate what wrong with it?

It wouldn’t be slipping bc that is just a floor finish issue. I’ve had a few basketball courts installed where I’ve worked over the years. It’s potentially something that the players might not even notice, but the facilities staff in athletics did notice. When you’re paying that kind of money, you want it to be perfect. Little problems can escalate into big problems of not addressed immediately.I’m curious to know as well. It’s 100% maple. No way they would use bamboo. Most likely hard maple.Heard they used bamboo and didn't let it acclimate long enough.

You never know on here, so I took you serious!I was just joking as bamboo takes forever to acclimate and can be a nightmare.
