Chances at Rawle Alkins???

What's everybody's thoughts on the kid. I really like him myself. And I'm thinking if Ulis leaves he would be another great pickup. Obviously if Ulis comes back then we wont get him, but what's y'all's thoughts on him as a player and our chances on landing him?

Im thinking in this order Monk, Simmons, Alkins. I think we land 2 of those 3 and 1 of them being Monk for sure.

Yeah I think we definitely get Monk. But if Ulis comes back I just cant see us getting another guard. With Ulis back we would already have Mathews, Willis, Gabriel, off the bench. Gabriel will play a lot of 3 IMO so that's why I included him. IDK it would just seem crowded. Now if Ulis leaves its a different story cuz then Fox is running the point with Gabriel at the 3 most likely. Then we could use a SG off the bench to pair with Mathews and Willis. But who knows.

Where Is Uliss going to go?Everyone on here pumping him up to be a NBA first rounder are fooling themselves.Who is he going to guard in the NBA?He would be a defensive liability that no team is going to gamble a first round pick on.I love him as a college player and he should stay in college to get his degree.

Ulis is gone is he has the type of season we all expect , Cal has said so . We will add Monk and if we can talk a future high 1st rounder into coming here and playing back up to Fox ( Simmons) they we will add him as well as we will have room since we lose 6 to the draft . Alkins is out of the picture it seems as Cal hasn't seen him or anything in forever and you can tell he is getting Monk as the SG.

Who ever said he's going in the first round? The argument is that he's never going to go higher than he will after this season, when he'll still be young and he'll have led his own team for a season.

He can always get his degree - They've made it so former players can do it free of charge.

Ullis is a pro I dont care if he is 4'10" Dude is going pro. He is a polished point guard by end of this season.

Guarding someone doesn't mean you have to block every shot they take. He's quick, he's savvy, he's an excellent distributor. May not go first round this year, but he will get a shot at the NBA.
