Yep, and Pope deserves some legit criticism for it. Pitino has got to be embarrassed of his player for this.

I like Pope, but that's got to be fixed if he wants to stay here.

I don't agree that this is Pope's fault. He can only coach them to play. I give him a pass on this season because I don't believe this team reflects Pope's style of play. He has a team of leftovers that he has managed to make look like a legitimate contender. If not for the injuries, we would have at least 3 more wins.

Garrison honestly looks like someone we can gladly ask to leave after the season. He seems to have little interest right now in anything but getting his.

He’s holding the ball because the Ky kids aren’t able to get separation or cut with any speed. It’s not their fault, but that pass isn’t there.

This is what I see … it’s like Garrison goes out of his way NOT to pass it to Perry or Noah.

Butler, Brea, Almanor, & Amari are the only guys willing to pass to the young guys. I don’t know if it’s a trust issue, unfamiliarity, or what. Garrison does go out of his way though to not give it to them. Oweh, just doesn’t pass to anyone unless he’s doubled past the 3 point line.

Jesus we had 8 turnovers and gave up 6 off rebounds the 2 things that have plagued us all year long continue to haunt us.

1 thing we did better forced 9 turnovers with 5 steals 2 areas we have sucked at all year at least that was better.

I'm not sure what people expect Pope to do.

We just have a bad set of defensive players. Like Cal did last season.

But given this team was thrown together last second, he at least to me gets another year or two to get his type of players here. Then I'll make the assessment.

Why can’t he dial up a Zone defense?. It has looked good at times against other teams. We cannot guard a fence post one on one. Bigger stronger guards take this team off the dribble relentlessly.

I want him to get into a basic defensive position and slide he big feet so that he can stop his opponent from easily drive past him. If he was doing this, he wouldn't have two fouls. Reaching instead of moving his feet is why he doesn't play good defense.

Hate saying this but Chandler doesn’t belong here. He may have out of HS, maybe, but his layoff has taken a toll.

I think he will be good for us in time but he doesn't need to be playing right now for sure.

Chandler has improved leaps and bounds but when he came in this game he looked like this was his 1st game he’s played all season.

On February 26th I think people just need to realize what we got here.

With a healthy Butler, we have an elite offense that can shoot the lights out and take decent care of the ball. It's a team that can put up points on any defense.

We are also a team with a bad defense. And that will ultimately be our downfall.

Combined tho, this isn't a bad first year team for Pope.

All our guys had 2 fouls, they had to play defense like they had 2 fouls, so we should keep that in mind while we're crushing their effort. They were just trying to get to the 2nd half without getting a 3rd.

I hate these games where the officials call everything. This is what happened to us at UGA and at Texas. We need to win one of these.

And that’s a terrible combination to go along with bad defense. You can’t give a team extra possessions that you also can’t defend lol.
