I don't care what Matt Jones says. It was a stupid contract at the time. Other schools may have been interested in Stoops, but none of them were going to pay anywhere close to what we did.

We could have paid Stoops more than anyone else and it still would've been much less generous than this current contract.

B. It’s negotiable and with a LOUD ENOUGH fanbase stoops would talk and make a deal
