Gonzaga showed some 2nd half grit.
WVU and UK would be dangerous if they could hit jumpshots.

West Virginia's size gave them (Timme especially) problems early. Considering that and the injury to Suggs that kept him out of the game for an extended stretch, it was a strong win for Gonzaga.
They were saying it on the broadcast, very different West Virginia team than the one I've become used to. This one's got a lot of quality size up front. They would have tried to run with this Gonzaga team in the past with their 'Press Virginia' style.

I also happen to be a Kentucky fan and have been for over 50 years, and am a retired Kentucky state employee. Is there some kind of law that says that I can't be a fan of both ?

Main thing I took away from the game: Western Kentucky is probably the best team in Kentucky right now.
