Cal has 2 coaches on the floor in Wagner and Sheppard.
Noticed that. He just needs to sit back and enjoy. Give the guys some freedom and they will play looser and in sink more.
I really like Ulis on the sidelines. Kid is out there pumping em up. Awesome to see.
Wait till conference play starts. Whew. He will tighten up like a bull’s ass in fly season.
Good point. Last night was so much better just due to that.
If our guys continue to run and move the ball he will not yell. The thing is if we get up by say 10 on Kansas, Cal will call time and out of the TO we will see Dilly or Wagner dribble for 25 seconds and then a rush shot. Trying to not lose instead of keep on keeping on.
He likes this team, coaching is easy because they listen. Then you have a high profile KY biy on the team. Jeff might not be connected to the staff but it might be an unmanageable task to keep any conflict under wraps this year versus let's say last year .

even the players are saying they are doing what Cal wants, so i am guessing that he is not having to get too many points across during the game
I actually heard "go" once during the game but I am not sure if it was Cal or another coach.
you don't need to do that when the players have a clue...many in the recent past had no clue
Our results lately don't seem to reflect his screaming and yelling being successful. Do better.

He can yell and scream all he wants, but it's nonsense during the game and clearly hasn't worked anytime lately.
He was screaming during the game last night. I heard him several times across the gym up high in section 231. Not sure what he was saying, but it was loud.

no doubt we have had some players lately that would make any coach pull his hair out or scream
how many times have our fans been watching a game and scream "why did he do that"
of course you may be different and have little to no emotion during a game
Love to see a team that's in sink run a fast paste offense like this.

He hasn't worn a tie yet. And I'm ok with that. I like him wearing suits. This is Kentucky damn it.
Could have been one of those blazer wearing ushers that found someone sitting in the wrong seat .
it was great seeing players do what they are taught in practice and not having to be told all game long to correct the same mistakes
Was great to see him act like a normal human being on the sidelines last night instead of Sgt Carter, lol.
Hopefully, when he first got here he was passionate and got on the Freshman for mistakes especially if it was a good one but generally he let them play.
1st of all I never said he didn't coach. I never saw Brad Stevens act like a lunatic at Butler. He had wild success there.
I hope Ulis stays for the long haul. I’d love to see him stay as an assistant after Cals tenure.
