For those of you creating a hundred threads about why Pope’s offense isn’t working right due to shooting too many 3s or big man passing, etc.,

Heartfelt, I feel bad for you that you lost your hero, the two point shot king himself, John Calipari. He isn’t coming back, folks, so I guess you’ll have to put up with a highly intelligent coach running his system.

Praise be to Jesus. So many young fans just know Cal basketball and never seen real basketball with real team play with coaches working with developing the roster during games. As soon as we get our legs back and that 2nd and 3rd winds very similar to the 93 team and start shooting 3's better, we are going to be nasty.

I would think that there are a lot of people with built up frustrations because Pope hasn't gave them much fodder........I stopped watching Cal's BS about 8 yrs ago........I read about the team but that was it........I just couldn't get interested........I'M INTERESTED NOW! While the team is part of it.........every time I listen to Mark Pope talk about UK, the team, BBN and everything else blue, I get more excited about this program........Pope will go down as one of the best hires ever for the men's basketball team!

I don't want Cal back the man only won 1 championship with all those NBA first rounders, I don't think Cal care about winning championships, he turned UK into a NBA D-league team. HIs offense was archaic at best, his defense was only as good as if the players wanted to play defense or not. He was a lazy coach who loved to bask in the NBA by going and sitting in the green room with his players.

In my opinion he was getting large sums of money from agents to funnel them players. I never trusted him after the 2010 draft day comments. He showed his true colors. It was money green and not Royal Blue.

Nope, not sensitive about it. Does something I said bother you? I’m saying I trust the coach and you have people making multiple threads talking about how we need to shoot less threes and install their systems lol. That doesn’t offend me, I’m just sharing my opinion.

There are multiple threads to the contrary as well. I see one just as valid as the other. I think it is an important topic and I can’t see the harm in what I’m saying.

Edit: I will actually edit and say that I am sensitive to the topic. There’s nothing wrong with supporting the coach.

I don't think there is harm. Just seems a bit weird that something like fans voicing an opinion on coaching can bother you but you can post your opinioin but others aren't afforded the same? Perhaps it just the way you present and the hue that is cast.

There are numerous threads out there talking about Jaxson Robinson shooting too many threes, the team needs to shoot more twos, etc. if I post that Cal isn’t coming back, that’s too much for you? Lol. I’m saying trust the coach, that’s my perspective. They have theirs and I don’t have to think it is just as valid as what the coach says and I see no problem with me saying it. You’re a moderator, you can ban me off this site as you see fit for saying such crazy stuff as “the coach is smarter than us.”

I hate to admit it, but we aren’t that important.😁😁😁

This board is built for ALL opinion. Some great, some not so great. But the differences of opinion makes this place special.

There’s a few former Cal guys who’ve been conspicuously absent since April. We also have a few new handles spouting negativity who were nowhere to be found until the Clemson loss.

Going to guess those guys are the leftover Cal fans who aren’t fully on board with Pope.

Their tells are worrying about five star recruits and how many draft picks we do/don’t have.

Who is making posts dogging our offense and Pope?

Everything I've read since last night's game seems to be in unison that the problem is simply the lack of high end talent on this team (and the injuries to two of our more important players).. not Pope or his offense.
