I’ll be here celebrating. I hope I’m wrong but the way Cal has “coached” during his tenure at UK doesn’t give me confidence that I will be here celebrating.

I think he's just one of those people that takes the extreme pessimistic approach, so that they can never really be let down. If we suck or are mediocre, they can say, "see, I told you we would be a let down." Then he can pound his chest and act like he truly knew. Then they don't have to feel the disappointment they would if they take a normal to optimistic approach. However, if we end up meeting or exceeding expectations, they can get the excitement and just brush off their previous criticism because they ultimately got the outcome they really wanted to begin with.

What Im saying is and this applies to you too. Every single thread about Cal or anything hopeful or positive you feel the need to put a negative spin on it. I realize you despise Cal so tell me why do you let him live rent free in you head.

I AM NOTa Cal supporter, but this is kind of silly. We have one I repeat one big man healthy enough to start the season. He tells you he is sore after his first 3 practices, you are the coach do you A play him I'm a meaningless intrasquad scrimmage and risk an injury or B let him sit a few days and recover. Like it or not he is the coach this year,let him do it. As for his earlier statement about playing him,so what it's Cal you can believe he is doing what's best for start of season and the good of his team or you believe he is gassing the fans. Either camp will never be swayed from their position if there are 1000 posts on this thread.
He's gassed the fans before. He needs to get results this year to win the fans back. Distrust is at an all time high, and with good reason.
The problem is that none of us actually know if what you described is true. If anyone believes any reasons that Cal gives for playing time or sitting out, then they are very naive.

Yesterday, I saw more people in Kentucky Wildcat gear than I've seen in years. Most people don't give a crap who the coach is, we just want are team great and we want to win. There are a small percentage of our fan base that are nancies that need to be on Rivals so they can cry. They come and go. They come and go. There are people on here thats probably on their 10th different account, maybe more. We got trolls. Let it ride. This is our year!

* Cal says he shouldn't have said Z would play in this game. He went 3 hard practices after a busy ramp-up from the flight and all the medical tests and prodding he had to go through the first few days. Started cramping up a lot. Did not want to risk his health after going thru all that. He won't give dates on Bradshaw or Ugo or Big Z moving forward. Had every intention of him playing this weekend, and so did Big Z, but he cares about the players and their health above all.
I started ignoring Cal when he allowed Keion Brooks to be a leader in the 2020-21 Covid shortened season. We saw where that went. Life is much more enjoyable when you never care a word Cal speaks since most of it is the same tired tropes and isms he has used for years. Just root for the Cats, know he won’t be here forever when the season becomes disappointing, and know that many will be refreshed and excited again when he’s gone.
This has run its course. For Cal and the fans.
But nothing can be done until he leaves… so just root for the best… absent the Cal speak!

We should have a more clear timeline for Bradshaw's return. He was injured in April, surgery in June/July, and ample time has passed for recovery. There should at least be a tentative return date.
