Extremely doubtful. Folks were excited for last season because of the defense and Vandegrifter but short of a new coach, zero excitement will be here in Spring. We’re losing a ton on defense, a sophomore QB, with likely a few less weapons to throw to.

No chance at a bowl game again.

Without a complete overhall, and with the new teams in the SEC, IMO 5 wins will always be our new ceiling-no more than 1-2 SEC winnable games. Damn, I have turned into a negative Nancy! Still mad that My son and I attended the South Carolina and Vanderbilt games at a cost of approx. $3500. Thanks God the food at Franks and Dinos and Tonys was superb! Also Big BlueMadness was outstanding after the Vanderbilt loss. GBB-Basketball!

I had friends keep their season tix after moving to Fayetteville NC , flew in for 2 games , drove in 2 times .. they said they wont be back . Long as Mr Stoops is here

I'm long past the point of summoning optimism ahead of any given season for UK football. Given the current landscape, I'm convinced the ONLY way UK football will ever have even a chance of being a contender for things like SEC Championships and playoff berths is for the program to somehow fall into the graces of a mega donor with endless resources who simply fancies having a competitive football team and is willing to throw however much money is needed at it to buy an elite roster year after year.

I think Stoops and MB’s realize what a failure this year was. MB can’t fire him yet so he will assure him of the resources to improve our product . Stoops has to realize all coach’s not performing have to go or he goes at the end of an ugly season next year . I believe he will do soul searching and quit “ mailing it in “ and regain control and discipline over the program which apparently has been non existent this year .
Maybe he should copy coach Pope ‘s method of analytics . If a coach ‘s area has not performed both in recruiting and up coaching of talent he should be gone .

I said we would go 7/5 because I think that IS our ceiling even if everything goes as good as it can. The schedule is stacked against us . Three sure wins . Four out of the eight SEC games and a new UL might be possible . But I guess so is another 4/8 season.

My point is our ten win seasons are most likely over . They were an anomaly based on a favorable schedule , luck and a great highly motivated staff . Regardless of what we are told to increase season ticket sales I think our ceiling is 7/5 unless a better HEAD coach is hired . IMHO.
