I'm all for the Power K and the old logos. The new wildcat needs some "tweaks" bad
Absolutely hate the new Wildcat logo and refuse to buy any merchandise with it on it. Much rather see one of the old logo Wildcats brought back. Especially the fierce looking one that was the whole Wildcat body jumping out and reaching out with one claw up and one claw down lower. That was a ferocious looking Wildcat from, I think, back in the late 60's. Add some nice colors to it and you have a great logo for UK, not that dumb looking cartoon of two birds we have today.

of course everyone has changed but that was many years ago. Now, most keep their logos stationary. See, the yankees, alabama, Notre dame, Tennessee, lakers, celtics.

I'm in the 50+ category which would make you think I hated the new Wildcat logo. But, it's actually kind of grown on me. I especially like it on the matte black football helmets that I've seen pictures of. Would like to see them use those once in a while. Most people don't like change though. I have nothing against the older logos, I kind of like the newer ones though.
Now as for the 'block' UK logo, that change was unnecessary in every way possible. The checker boards have seen their day, I think it's time to move on.

Ha, I've had this one since 1990. And yep it was my bedroom trashcan when I was a kid. Then it was my dorm room trash can, my kitchen trash can in my first apartment, all the way to my office trash can 30 years later. It's seen some shit.
