Both Purdue and UConn go down

Heck knowing the polls with Kansas beating 2 top 10 teams (kentucky and uconn) they will somehow be 1 or 2. We will probably jump to 10 knowing the polls.

But really right now it still does not matter. Hope we take care of business today.
They probably have one of the best resumes at this point. Show that they are good beating UCONN though. That loss won’t hurt us at all. I wish they would lose about 6 in a row tho! Looking at their schedule they prolly won’t have a legit shot to lose until Jan. 16. Indiana is the only team they play until then outside Mizzou and they don’t look so hot either of them.

The fact that they beat UCONN just makes our 5 pt L to them on a
neutral floor without Bradshaw look that much better.

We are clearly a top 5 team right now and possibly the best team in the country once Bradshaw gets settled in.
When I see posts like these (ultra-flowers and rainbows), I don't even have to look left at the poster's name to know who's posting it. Same with thread titles. I love optimism, but this guy (who for some reason has had me blocked for years, so he won't see this at all) is always just over the top with how awesome UK teams are each year (more like each day or hour).

He does have a point with that, though. Coming in, I thought UConn was much better than KU. After that game last night, I’m not so sure. However, I KNOW we are a much better team than KU, especially with some bigs healthy. We led them for about 85% of the game.

It is practically impossible to beat Kansas at Phog.

Unbelievable the whistle they get in every game they play at that rat hole.

Refs must be intimidated or bought to consistently get that many favorable calls/no-calls every game.
Which makes our blasting of them at the Phog recently even that more amazing.

He might be right this year. If the substituter can play the right line up. He likes his guys.

Again, Purdue’s guards are NOT very good.

I foresee "Death By Guards" in the NCAA tournament….. again.

I'm definitely more confident than I have been in the recent past, but there's still that hesitancy with Cal at the helm. So far, he's proven he might stick with this playing style - that he kept the foot on the gas against Miami was a good sign.

Cal tapped the brakes with 6 minutes to go in the Miami game and then went into full stop with that finger horn set that kills clock, gets zero fouls called on the opponent, and literally ends the scoring Gordon our side.

And, if you listened to his postgame comments he did it for a purpose. A dumb purpose but he at least admitted to pulling the offense back.

Cal will get tighter and tighter on the offense when he gets a big man that can clog up the lane and play half court sets. Ugh!

I can't wait to see it. 🤢

UConn also had a starter out last night.

Are or aren’t? Lol Assume you meat aren’t lol
:p You are right. Thanks. I should run everything by you(or somebody) before I post because I’m terrible at proof reading. I guess I think it goes straight from my mind to the page.
Again, thanks for the catch. I’ll fix it.
