Boise St forfeits Mntn West volleyball tourny

After advancing to the semifinals of the Mountain West tournament, the Boise St women’s volleyball team forfeited their semi-finals match vs San Jose St, The coach said it wasn’t an easy decision, but “They should not have to forgo this opportunity while waiting for a more thoughtful and better system that serves all athletes.”

5 other schools have also canceled games vs San Jose St this season. The Nevada team after forfeiting said they “refuse to participate in any match that advances injustice against female athletes,”.

Even though they have not said what exactly this is about, I think we all know .

I applaud these strong young women for standing up for themselves.

The bizzaro world seems to be coming to an end. Good riddance and Thank God! Anyone who gets down with that line of thinking is one sick, twisted individual. I never played those games and luckily I was never around one of those freaks or their minions when a convo arose about the subject.
