Bill Self with a cryptic radio response to Fox committment?

Even if you guys win, will it ever compensate for the shame and embarrassment that was last season's massacre?

The list of names stand out in U.S. history of one-sided slaughter-fests:

Battle of Little Big Horn
Pickett's Charge
Bunker Hill
Last Season's Massacre in Indianapolis

Even George Custer, in all his historical shame and devoted failures upon the Great Plains, was watching from afar, face-palming.

Dang...

That isn't what I said. Mason and Graham will be on the Kansas roster next season. Murray will NOT be on the Kentucky roster. He will be a lottery pick next year. Ulis may not be on the Kentucky roster. He may be drafted. There will be more available time at the point for Kentucky. Not an insult.

I think it's safe to say Kansas is now a third option for the best talent. When Duke started pulling the weight, Kansas was the odd man out. As I've said for a while, I think pulling wiggins and that class was fools gold. And in Kansas fashion, you had an early exit even with them.

I'll man up and say that the beat down last year finally put to rest (in my mind) the big KU win when we were down (1988 maybe?).

UCLA
UK
UNC
Indiana
Duke

Uconn
Lousiville
Kansas
Florida
San Francisco

I love this list.

We're obsessed? Yet, you are on our board? Kansas logic.

You have to spell it out for them, slowly. Kansas is a small, backwards place. I think 8th grade is equivalent to a high school diploma there.

Maybe we can find them a good link to a Kansas board? One that lies a little less than the shiver perhaps?

Memphis?...Kentucky? Is that the kettle calling the pot black?

Tell us more about how Frank Mason and Devonte f*****g Graham would limit De'Aaron Fox's minutes. LMAO

Who said that?

Is that not exactly what that means? Fox would get less minutes at Kansas than he would at Kentucky, because you guys are already stocked up with the great backcourt of Frank Mason and Devonte Graham? I got news for you, if Self played either of those guys ahead of Fox, you should run him out of town.

I did. It is a fact. Senior Frank Mason, Junior Devonte Graham would take minutes from Freshman Fox.

Well, he has the same issue at Kentucky with Ulis and Briscoe and it didn't prevent him from committing to Kentucky.

Nice game for Mason and Devonte tonight with 8 assists each and 1 and 2 turnovers, respectively.

There will lot more playing minutes at Kentucky at the point next season for Fox than he would have at Kansas next season. Kansas is recruiting 2017 point guards. My guess is that Kansas will pull in one combo guard or a transfer guard in the 2016 class. And for the record, Monk or Chipmonk is NOT that guard either. I think Monk will be part of the 2016 Kentucky Recruiting Class.

Yeah Fox probably wouldn't have got playing time at Kansas until his junior year.

Fair enough. Do you think either would start over a freshman Fox? I mean, let's imagine for a moment that Kansas landed Monk and returned Svi, so the hypothetical counter that Fox and Mason can't be an option for an answer in this question.

1 - ?? (who starts here, Fox, Mason, or Graham)?
2 - Monk
3 - Svi

If I am a Senior in High School today and play guard. I would probably look at Kentucky more than Kansas. Both Cal and Bill like to have more than one ball handler on the court at a time and tend have to the #3 play more backcourt than frontcourt. Having said that I would look at the Kansas roster and see Mason, Graham, Svi, Selden, Greene, Vick and think where would I fit in there? I would look at the Kentucky roster and think Murray is going pro next season. I see Utlis, Briscoe and Fox. It is less crowded for a guard at Kentucky than Kansas. If I played the #4 or the #5, it would be the opposite.

Maybe kids don't think that way. But if I hoped I was going to college one year and play in the NBA the next year, playing minutes would be a factor to me.

This is like UK fans if UK fans were saying Derrick Rose wouldn't get as many minutes at UK because we already had senior Ramel Bradley. No disrespect to Ramel Bradley, but same deal.

No. I believe that there is value in a Senior guard over a Freshman guard. Call me old-fashion....

I'd call you a loser. Self would cut whatever "experience" he could if it meant get Fox. Don't respond. I don't waste my time with stupid.

Vick, Mason, and Graham. LMFAO, right. I'm sure the transcendent talents out there are really worried about 3 dudes that will be lucky to ever even see a D League roster.

I expect that response. If Fox would have come to Kansas, I would have been overjoyed. And, if we were out of scholarship and he walked on, that would be fantastic too. Bring Monk too. I am just telling you how I would look at from player stand point.

How many NCAA basketball games do you watch that are non-Kentucky games each week? Zero?

Yeah, you'd be way off on that. I have NBA league pass and watch multiple NBA games a week in addition to every college basketball game I get the opportunity to watch.

I'm not sure what you're implying. I'd question how much basketball you actually watch if you think guys like Graham, Mason, or Vick would be anything more than bench players on a D league team.
