Keep the families in southern Todd County, Russellville , Auburn, and Bowling Green in your prayers. Those areas were hit by a long track tornado that was on the ground upwards of an hour, lots of damage.
I have family who lives in the area that was hardest hit. It sounds like the one that hit Bowling Green 2 years ago on Dec 11th,Hoping it's just damage. Hope the people are all safe.
I’m 20 miles north of you. It really calmed down before it got here.I’m in glasgow in barren county. Gotta love dixie alley.
Dec 10 two years ago I believe.Isn't the western ky tornado anniversary around this time?
Have a brother living in Clarksville, TN right by Ft. Campbell. The area got a lot of damage back in Clarksville.

I am getting better news on this. It seems that it did the most damage in the Clarksville Tennessee area, Guthrie KY, and Allensville Kentucky. The good thing is that the hardest hit area in KY is not heavily populated.I’m 20 miles north of you. It really calmed down before it got here.
tomorrow. Spooky as hell.Isn't the western ky tornado anniversary around this time?

It started to dissipate after moving north of Auburn.Grew up in Glasgow. Currently live in BG. Everything is good on my side of town
It was scary. Tornado touched down two miles from us. Small one but lots of damage in the county.it started on the 10th and went on into the early morning of the 11th. Scary night and I remember it well.
Yeah it’s unsettling for sure. In 2005 Munfordville had a small tornado. I recall one in January in 1999 too. But I was in Mississippi at the time.It is just crazy that we are having these kinds of storms in Dec. It seems that December is becoming more dangerous for storms than March or April.
Thanks for the update.looks like a high end F2.
DAMN. I love that area. They heavily align with BG more than nashville. Due to the influx of West coasters and East coasters to nashville.Downtown Springfield Tennesse which is right on the Ky/Tn line was heavily damaged.
In December West Ky is the northern stretch of Dixie Alley, a secondary tornado alley centered more in the southeast. The new tornado Alley is western KY and western TN.
