Bama/Oregon on TNT

It was the right call. Commentators are fixated on the fact it looked clean. Of course it was clean. It had started to go down.

Alabama did get hosed on that play. But not by the refs. They got hosed by their own dude goaltending what would have been a miss.

Difference was 2 points. Goaltend call was pretty big. Alabama blows this team out if they don't turn the ball over 17 times. That's 37 turnovers in the last 2 games.

It hadn’t even hit the backboard yet. How was it going down? lol. It was a terrible call

Sears now 1/11 from 3. He’s officially in a slump to start the season.
Agree. He was playing great basketball at the end of the season last year. If he doesn't turn it around he'll be costing himself some money. I was sure he'd go pro after last season, perhaps NIL changed his mind.

Was a good game to watch, it was the 1st time I had a chance to watch the ducks play and they have a very good team. Bama made way to many turnovers and that is what cost them the game.

He was too small and unathletic to go to NBA. Doesn’t mean he couldn’t make it, but far from a sure thing.

Bama plays, or tries to play, as fast and on the edge as possible. I think they just try to blitz their opponent with helter skelter play. It worked last year, so I guess it's okay, but when you just try to bombard the opponent with shors, you better make a decent percentage of them, or you're going to give them chances to get back in the game.

I'm not sure how good Oregon is, but they looked much better than an unranked team should look.

Bama will be fine tho.

Remember last season when they were sitting at 6-5? Everyone wrote them off.

Then they ended up going 13-5 in SEC play and making a final four lol.

The SEC is a stronger league this year and without looking, I bet Alabama had a favorable SEC schedule last year.

The SEC has unbalanced scheduling and some teams benefit from that, some get the shaft.

But yeah, Alabama hit another gear last year and figured it out. I think it happened after they took that drubbing in Lexington. That was a very sobering butt kicking according to Sears' comments a week or so later.

This is not last year's team. Oats is a clown and thinking he'll be a regular deep in the tournament is laugable. Also, has an Oat's team ever held a good team under 80?? But but but he has a final four! flush

Not sure if Sears is an NBA player. Feel like he has to work extra hard to get a clean look. Kind of a Carsen Edwards type. I think he’s already out of the league?

The Wrightsell Achilles tear is huge for Bama.

That is their team captain, emotional leader and best three-point shooter.

That's the equivalent of Kentucky losing LaMont Butler or Andrew Carr.

No doubt about the SEC being stronger.

I still think they are one of the top teams in the SEC. Losing a one poss game to Oregon really doesn't change my opinion all that much about that.
