We were playing just fine with him. Not much else was needed.
DJ would not have changed the outcome, IMO. He would have taken minutes from Reed, who was the only player who showed up today.

I mean he could have, but that's not what I am asserting. I believe we still lose with DJ playing. DJ wouldn't have changed how Edwards and Dillingham played.

The real reason we lost is because Cal didn't start Reed and play him all 40 minutes. Now, yes, Reed did get 39 minutes. But that 1 minute he sat is where we lost the game.
On a night where Reed was the only one doing anything on offense, the guy on our team that is the best at getting into the paint and attacking the rim would have helped. He's also a very good defender on a night where no one on the team defended well.
So are you admitting you don't know for a fact that we win with Reed playing more vs Kansas?

I don’t think Dillingham would have made as many mistakes, we could have ran the 3 guard lineup more that we do best with too.

Hell, Reed got 39 minutes. It's still not enough for you guys. Needs to start and play 40 minutes every single night. God forbid we let the kid rest. He might be more efficient.
Yes. He and Reeves just don’t have the ice water in their veins when it matters. Sheppard made some bad plays today, and he made some good plays. But you can tell he has “it” and they don’t. He’s shooting 100% from the line for the season.
We need a big man in the rotation and start playing Wagner, Sheppard, and Dillingham together more. Because Reeves is what he is. Looks like Curry against the Marshalls of the world. But sucks in the big games.
He can change that by stopping being up there giggling like a fat kid eyeing a piece of cake/
