Anybody think Dilly could eventually start ahead of Reeves ?

Can’t read anymore.

We are playing well with a young group but let’s change the chemistry.

Ever think Robert and Reed as Fr like their role?

When Reeves is on from the Three he is a weapon no doubt but man Dilly can do more than him in my opinion.
Dillingham is best off the bench. He plays with a lot of energy and can be a change of pace player. I think he's electric with Reed in the lineup to keep the ball moving and offense going.

Reeves has the experience but now has some backup if he's having an off game. It isn't all on his shoulders to make shots.

I think Reeves and Dillingham both will be equally streaky. 8-12 with 25 pts one night, 2-12 with 5 points the next game.

But Reaves biggest asset (3pt shooting) is more needed by this team than Dillingham’s assets. Plus he’s been in the big games already.

But I don’t care how starts, what matters is MINUTES, and hopefully Cal will go with the hot-hand(s) each game.

Rob is more of a natural PG than DJ. Cal seems set on DJ learning the pg position which is another reason why he seems to be struggling some shooting wise .

The good thing is none of these guys have been selfish on the court .

Some of yall kill me LoL Wagner is going to start every game as well unless hurt or sick. The team you see right now is how it's going to be constructed unless we get a big back and we move mitchell to the 4. That's the only change you are going to see in the starting 5. Mark it down.
If Bradshaw ever gets fully healthy it will be Wagner, reeves, Edwards, Mitchell & Bradshaw. With dilly, reed, Thiero, and burks off the bench

I think you bring more speed and quickness off the bench, not less ... in this situation !!!
Reeves starts, but Dilly gets plenty of clock ... not an issue.

Sounds like we have good problems to have. Reeves is probably more valuable in the starting lineup, as is Dilly and Reed with the 2nd unit. They play fast, and put pressure on ball handlers.

There's nothing wrong with having 4 solid guards as we have learned from previous seasons.

Disagree with all the takes re: starting lineup. Reed and Rob are the perfect spark needed off bench. Once we get Bradshaw back, we will have Adou to add to that list.

I love the idea of those three coming in to impact games significantly this season.

All this will get shuffled once we have a healthy center. Thiero will most likely fall out of the starting lineup.

Really? All of our frosh guards are very good, but I'm not sure Wagner is the best. Time will tell.
It's not so much about who's better right now. Cal is loyal almost to a fault and there is zero scenarios where he doesn't start Wagner. Plus, you don't recruit a top 5 recruit and tell them they are going to have to come off the bench. That would be used against you in recruiting for years to come.

So might playing somebody heavier minutes than the deserve.

Right now, based on the stats from two games, Dillingham and Sheppard need to start together in the backcourt. Reeves at the 3. Edwards at the 4 (we have no one else there right now). Mitchell at the 5.

Reed and Dillingham really work well together coming off the bench.

Dillingham is probably the most exciting player on the team, but can be a little erratic sometimes. Although Reed can't do the things that Dillingham can, he knows when to dial it back, which is a perfect complement coming off the bench.

To me Shep is the most exciting player on the team. He is bringing it defensively. He is doing a little bit of everything. Love his game.
