Best backcourt? Three of these dudes haven’t played college ball and Reeves is mediocre. Wagner and Dilly will likely be low percentage three-point shooters, and Reed might not play much. And what’s your deal with leaving out Thiero? Cal very much sees him as a guard.Has to be a foregone conclusion at this point that Reeves returns.
Wagner
Reeves
Dillingham
Sheppard
Makes a pretty potent punch at the PG/SG spots, probably the best backcourt in the country.
Edwards and the SDSU kid holding down the SF spot is elite as well.
Our question marks right now hinge solely on Oscar returning.
Why do you always feel the need to belittle our players. honestly I get the Cal hate but you trash the players constantly.Best backcourt? Nowadays many consider the SF position as part of the "backcourt". Unsure I totally agree, but for arguments sake let's say it is true. Add Edwards/Theiro/SDSU transfer Johnson and our "backcourt" is as good or better than anyone's.It's not intentional to leave him out- he should be a solid piece as well.
Reeves is hardly mediocre, that comment makes me question your bias here.
The dude averaged 15 PPG and 40% from 3 in only 27 MPG last year, and led the SEC in 3pt shooting.
I think we can all recognize that Wagner and Dillingham are going to be elite college players, maybe I'm wrong, but I can't think of a current backcourt that I would take over ours (assuming Reeves is coming back).
It just depends on if the freshman guards play up to or close to their potential. Both of these guys are the real deal Holyfield. Wagner is an alpha and can take over games. Just have to see if he can do it at the college level. He’s elite all the way around.Best backcourt? Three of these dudes haven’t played college ball and Reeves is mediocre. Reeves can shoot but he cannot defend and his ball handling isn’t greatIt's not intentional to leave him out- he should be a solid piece as well.

We have a nice set. Just wish we had a bit more depth. We KNOW we have crap luck with injuries.Has to be a foregone conclusion at this point that Reeves returns.

You’re right. I believe Reeves returns and Wagner is a star. The UK backcourt is going to be greatIt's not intentional to leave him out- he should be a solid piece as well.

If reeves gets the combine invite the he is gone I think, if he doesn’t I think he is back, today performance made to where he is In the discussion for a invite, he probably doesn’t get one, because a lot of guys have played well the last 2 days at that combine but it’s something to watchIt's not intentional to leave him out- he should be a solid piece as well.

Well, reeves is back then(hopefully) good news, I don’t get the ones on here acting like he sucks, he has his limitations but Kentucky has to have him next year

I didn't see any trashing in that post. He only posted based on what these kids have done, and stated what they haven't done. I get the desperation for UK to be elite, but for the most part it's the coach. Why do you always feel the need to belittle our players. honestly I get the Cal hate but you trash the players constantly.
Think about how "has limitations" and "has to have" sounds. It's not good. Once upon a time a kid like Reeves would be a backup.Well, reeves is back then(hopefully) good news, I don’t get the ones on here acting like he sucks, he has his limitations but Kentucky has to have him next year
His main attributes are things you have to get in college basketball. He can score and shoot the ballThink about how "has limitations" and "has to have" sounds. It's not good. Once upon a time a kid like Reeves would be a backup.
Don't confuse these guys with these complicated advanced metrics. Who cares if his team lost and was outscored by 10 when he was in? He had 16 points!Negative 19 +|~ first game. Negative 10 in the second.
No idea? Here's a hint - the NBA 3 point line is further out.If he comes back, I hope he starts shooting 3's from just beyond the arc instead of from Triangle park. Have no idea why he hasn't adjusted where he sets up.
Surprised we haven’t heard yet.Has to be a foregone conclusion at this point that Reeves returns.

Glad to see he did better but he’s not an NBA player. He’s a valuable piece we need though.
Frankly, I imagine it will take a few days for the disappointment to wear off.Surprised we haven’t heard yet.
I imagine so, but I’d think he pretty much knows now. He can be happy having a chance to be a big part of a great team with some great NIL warning to wipe away some tears. He still has a pro future across the water IMO.Frankly, I imagine it will take a few days for the disappointment to wear off.
