I get the impression that "reaching out" for Calipari is kind of like what Benjamin did with Mrs. Robinson's daughter Elaine when his parents pressured him to take her on a summer date and his heart just wasn't in it.

Exactly. People act like all these players UK has been rumored to be in contact with are serious candidates.
He would have been a nice bench guy to take Frederick's spot minutes but he will probably start at MSU I assume. None of these KY kids love UK enough to sit on the bench most of the game.

For better or for worse, Reeves is most likely coming back.

Dillingham, Wagner, Edwards, and Reeves are going to get starter minutes at the 1-3 spots. Sheppard will get most of the rest of those minutes. Thiero will get the left overs.
What we need is guys at the 4 and 5 spots. We have Bradshaw and Onyenso locked in. That’s it.

After Calipari has left, kids who actually want to transfer here will think they at least will be given a legitimate shot at playing if they are better than other players on the roster. As it stands now, they know that Cal is going to play the freshmen MCD 5*’s the majority of minutes even if theyre not as good because of his need to get them to the NBA on the fast track. It’s a shame.
Yes, because he played for OTE. They changed the rule so now going forward their players will be eligible. You constantly have terrible takes that are just flat our wrong and ignorant.
