ANDREW TAYLOR

Could be a solid bench player. People won't like it because he would eat up a lot of sheps minutes though IMO. Also not sure he wants to come to UK with reeves, Wagner, Dillingham and shep anyways.

This kid could probably do well on the nil front if he loves uk and is willing to ride pine. A good coach would convince this kid of that. Good depth. Another Kentucky boy

Not a chance. He has been leading his team for almost 3 years and will sit behind three top 30 guards. He would be insurance if Reeves leaves though...

He would be our 3rd best guard. Behind Wagner and Dillingham.

Don't think he's better than reeves. Reeves isn't gonna come back to not play a ton either.
Taylor is a better all around player than Reeves but Reeves is certainly better at his job as a knock down long ball shooter/volume scorer.

Lol Shepard may one of our top two guards before it’s all done this season. The guy was mcd AA dil wasn’t
Love Sheppard’s future but he and Taylor were scary similar in high school. I was fortunate enough to watch both for 5 years at North and Corbin. As great as Reed was, Andrew in high school may be the second best player to come out of the 13th region since Charles Thomas of Harlan. I’d put Reed as 2b but Taylor has 4 years of D1 experience so that’s why I put him ahead of him.

He is better than a bench player, he averaged like 18 or 19 points a game so he is obviously good, but as 6th man yeah o could see that

Other schools have the money and starting positions if they are one of the five best regardless of star ranking. We could have already had a couple of proven and experienced colleges players if that was the case at UK. It's like the only thing that really matters to the coach for next year is to not get anything in the way of getting the five stars out of here by the end of next season.

A guy like Taylor, why do I kind of feel bad for the guy if he comes? Why should I feel that way? We saw how talented and experienced a team has to be to make it to the final four. And now that most of the best transfers are gone I can see us losing a lot of games and getting another low seed next season. If the only thing on the coaches mind was winning the championship the best transfers would have already been gone after and gotten. If they know they can compete and win a spot over a five star why wouldn't they want to come to a place like this?

Times have changed and now most programs have an advantage over us in being able to get the best transfers without worrying about an incoming freshman playing ahead of them even though they aren't better. Our system has no chance to get us back where we should be now that all others go all out getting the best players they can in the portal.

Charles Thomas was a heck of a player. Played against him my sophomore yr in the PRP Classic.

Lol

I don’t care who comes to play, the worry will be how the coach plays them and how the lineup changes as the game progresses. Because our coach is who he is I have no hope he will ever lead us back to the heights he took us from. The sooner he leaves the better. Whoever he recruits will not matter. The results will be the same.

Yea, right that is why he is off and on like a light bulb
Maybe this kid could be more consistent
