After seeing Jamal Murray play a few times it's pretty clear that he has that sneaky, crafty, old man game when he chooses. Got me to thinking about all the guys we've seen that will be aggravating teenagers at the YMCA one day when they are grey.
First team captain has to be Tyler Ulis. The way he jumps AWAY from shot blockers instead of up at them has to really bother defenders when they are taking the ball out of the net.
Erik Daniels...unorthodox to the max...and effective in pissing off defenders.
Jamal Magloire...not a great scorer,but excelled at sneaky anger-inducing old man D.

Those are the first four to come to mind but wondered if any of the pre-mid 80's guys were known for their crafty play?

Murray, Fitch and Rondo all own a spot on the All-Rebounding Guards team too. Couldnt be a better time to have a great G Rebounder around than this year.

Larry Steele
Tommy Kron
Ronnie Lyons
Pat Riley
Truman Claytor
Dicky Beal

I think fit in here somewhere.

Murray super crafty as is Ulis and Brisco ...all 3 1st round picks

First thought was Erik Daniels. He had that finger roll for days. Must have been like a huge Gervin fan.

Cliff Hawkins stands out in my mind. Still remember his ankle breaker vs. UL in 2001.
Thats got to be my favorite crossover of all time too. Thats saying a lot considering all the great guards we've seen at UK.

Chuck Hayes. Undersized but could score and rebound. His craftiness has kept him in the NBA.

Erik Daniels rebounded a ball against Duke, dribbled behind his back in a flash and went back up and put it in faster than Krycholsky's back could spasm. He had all these interesting angles that he played from that I think made a lot of people see him as crafty. I know that was the first name that came into my mind when I saw the OP.

I always thought Ramel Bradley was kinda crafty. He would also trash talk and do annoying things to get into the opposing players heads.
