I first came to your board in December of last year after Iowa and Kentucky were announced for last year's bowl game.

Probably most fitting our teams finished 1-1 against each other in these two bowl games.

Glad for our outgoing seniors namely Sam Laporta and Jack Campbell. Great final games as Hawks for both today.

You saw Iowa's terrible offense at play the entire second half-- something we saw for an entire season this past year.

THANK GOD for Iowa's defense and only fitting our defense scored more points today than did Iowa's offense. We'd probably had about 10 pick six's for TDs these past two years.

I will continue to watch your board here. YOU ARE TRULY MY FAVORITES FAN BASE-- I like you more than many Iowa fans.

Again, any of you EVER get to the Iowa City area please let me know...would LOVE meeting you!

On to 2023!

Your victory was richly deserved today, even had our QB and top running back played I'm not sure we would have won. You guys ha e a tough hard nosed defense. Would have loved to watch this game if both teams wereat full strength, but you play with who you have and Iowa WAS the better team todzy

Congrats on today's victory. You guys played a great game and deserved to win. I wish you the best of luck in your 2023 season. You folks have a nasty defense. Cade McNamara should give you a big boost at the QB spot. An improved offense to go with that defense will allow you to rattle any team's cage in your conference.

You guys are always welcome here. Don’t know if I’ll ever make to Iowa City but if I do I’ll be touch. Happy New Year!

Appreciate the sentiments. Unfortunately I don't think ever again will we be seeing bowl games outside the CFP that we once did. Opt-outs will continue to increase if anything.

I’ve been very impressed with the level of class that the Iowa posters have demonstrated these past few years.

When Iowa was announced as UK’s bowl opponent last year, I was expecting some immature Iowa fans (every fan base has some posters with self-esteem issues that taunt opposing fan bases to make themselves feel important) to start talking trash on the UK Football board. To my amazement, I noticed absolutely ZERO trash talk posts from Iowa fans. All class and true sportsmanship. While I was happy that UK won last year, I almost felt bad that both teams couldn’t share the win. Incredible effort and clean, hard-nosed football played by both teams. It was a delight to watch the game.

So I can’t help but feel happy for Iowa and wish them well next season and every year afterwards. You have my respect.

Thank you! As a Hawk, I feel the same about yesterday's game....wish both teams could have won. Again, fittingly, both teams won in the back-to-back bowl matchups.

Through the last two years, I've learned much more about Kentucky football and you guys have learned more about Iowa football. And most important of all, we have both learned the others fan base is good people. Both of schools and fan bases should feel a sense of pride.

This is a very accurate post for how I felt about last years game. Really good game which I wish Iowa would have won, but I didn’t feel too bad about TBH, glad the team played really well against a really good opponent.

And I learned so much more about UK football (which I liked, our teams are sort of kindred spirits IMO).

Good luck moving forward!

Have a friend who loves golf. Goes to the John Deere Classic every year. I’m assuming it’s in Iowa?
I think the tickets are inexpensive and he and his wife stay at a nearby casino with free shuttles to the course. Really likes the course atmosphere and fans.

Actually thee John Deere Classic is held in Silvis,IL- right across the river from Iowa. Lots of casinos in Iowa right on the Mississippi River.
