A lost week, without the loss

Learning and still winning , it's what I hoped would happen this year . I didn't want a slew of blowouts , we need these types of games to build resolve among other things . Early season blowouts spoiled some fans into thinking it would be a season long victory lap , if they want a title I think the close or o.t. games need to happen .
There was a LOT of arrogance drifting through the fan base, and you have to wonder if some of that was developing among the players. If so, it should be gone now, and gone without having to take an L.
I can't say I'm happy with the last 2 games, but I'm not totally unhappy- as long as this doesn't continue, and we see some quality performances again.

The team got complacent and probably did buy into the ridiculous amount of praise . Every team we play is insanely motivated , passionate and flush with effort to beat us for multiple reasons , we are going to have close games due to that . We also can't match their intensity every game because it will burn our team out by tournament time , it's a unique situation that UK has to manage and keeping an even keel is more beneficial .
