a 96% win percentage at home. Most of us can't hit the toilet bowl 96% of the time.

Our overall percentage at Rupp, with Cal included, is 88.7%, so Cal is actually bringing UP an already historic number.

Remember that next time you think you question his methods.

We could have played these games @ the blue courts and still be 96-4 lol. I love Rupp though!
Naw. The Rupp advantage is absolutely devastating...in certain games. I was there against UNC in the Davis block game, at some of the GameDay games, at every UofL game that's been played there in the Cal era--totally deafening and a freakishly intimidating place.

Where Rupp can be a liability is in games like last night. When a mediocre team rolls in at 9:00 on a weekday, you're not going to get much (dare I say it?) energy. In fact you're going to get a certain kind of tightness, and that tends to somehow find its way out to the players.

Kentucky fans tend to get nervous in close games against poor opponents. I've been in there when you can hear individual voices...and Kentucky was winning. In games like this I think the "We play better on the road" mantra actually holds some weight.

But in the big games, Rupp is something to behold.

With only four losses at home we should all be able to recite these but I for the life of me cannot think of the other two off the top of my head.

Florida 2014
Baylor ????
Arkansas 2013?
