Oweh at a brutal 33% now. For a 2 guard in Pope's system this is really bad. Texas smartly left him wide open, and he bricked 4 of them before making the final heaven at the buzzer. He is a great player, but he needs to stick to his strengths.

Oweh at a brutal 33% now. For a 2 guard in Pope's system this is really bad. Texas smartly left him wide open, and he bricked 4 of them before making the final heaven at the buzzer. He is a great player, but he needs to stick to his strength.

It may be an aberration, but Oweh's career 3-point percentage in conference play is only .242 ... .292 in SEC play for us.
A head-scratcher !!

Additionally, what I'd like to see from Oweh is to look for open shooters on the wings/corners when he runs into congestion on penetration into the paint. It is rare for him to kick it out to open shooters. He seems to have blinders on ...
Still, though, he's been a helluva player for us this year !!
