I gotta go with Justin Rose. He's playing as well as anybody and always is tough in the majors.

“Goosen, Pavin, Floyd, Foulis have won previous US Opens played here.”

I’m not picking any of those guys!

Is there really a favorite this year? Nobody has stepped up and made you say I got to pick him.

Spieth: if his putter returns but he missed the cut last week.

DJ: doesn’t seem on top of his game right now.

Thomas: could be a good pick. He’s been a little quiet lately but could be because he’s gearing up for Shinnecock.

I’m going it go with a trifecta of picks. Rory, Rickie and Koepka. I’ll take those 3 versus the field.

Justin Rose. Playing great right now and course sets up well to his game. Could see Dustin making a run since he always plays well in the US Open because he is money with his Driver but can't see him winning back-to-back US Open's.

Who knows? Winner is going to have to putt well so Tiger probably doesn’t have enough yet to win this. I would go with Rahm and Fowler. Kisner for a long shot. Wise for a rookie.

I'll go with (1) Jim Nicklaus, (2) Arnold Dalmer

I haven't followed golf in a while, but I always did well with these 2 in the pools.

Henrik Stenson has what it takes to win here. I’ll be throwing some cash on him for sure at 30-1.

Local amateur from Louisville named Timothy Wiseman qualified, pretty cool story. Plays for Ball State and takes lessons from the same guy I do.

The Gunslinger just added some momentum for this week's major.

What's this? TV coverage before noon?

WHAT A NOVEL EFFING IDEA!

Also, I've come around big time on Fox's coverage. Love the fact they basically have pro tracer set up for every shot. Let's modernize the telecasts. The more info you can give me, the better.

Fox sucked at Chambers Bay, but it was their first try, so I gave them a pass. I enjoy them now.

I pick Speith.
Interesting. You know, I was having some beers with some buddies Friday, and we were talking about the US Open and throwing out some names. One of the guys looked at us and made the comment that he doesn’t believe Spieth will ever win another Major. I don’t happen to agree with that, but I do usually respect his opinion.
