    I don’t think there is any doubt that there was a subset of referees nation wide that had a dislike of Cal. And referees are human and are not immune to human feelings about getting yelled at constantly. It will be a breathe of fresh air to have a coach that is not on some refs crap list.

    When I first heard it, I didn’t like it. I’m starting to come around to it though. Duke and UNC’s coach didn’t have any wins at all when they were hired. Both have had moderate success so far.
