    I think it's less about the time spent here and more to do with the fact they didn't win anything. If Reed played one year but won a title, I feel he would definitely be looked at in a different light.

    It’s refreshing for a coach to put UK first after the entire Cal era. That being said it has to be about both. You can’t go from one extreme to another here. No one will come. UConn won back to back titles. They had guys between year 1 and 2 go to the draft. You absolutely need the talent

    I always viewed Cal tho as having a massive ass ego. After the title there probably was some truth to that about him feeling safe. I still think the guy wanted to win games. Unfornautely towards the latter end of this era he just wasn’t doing that enough.
