    The Transy game had "first actual game in Rupp Arena" pasted all over it. I'm not any more or less confident about the team after last night. No reason to be.

    Duke vs Virginia Union

    Two things to note: 1. Duke has great athleticism and can dunk really well when wide open. 2. Duke is not very good defensively at this point, especially keeping the other team out of the lane. Lowly Virginia Union is taking it inside almost every possession.

    The NBA has a 5 second DEFENSIVE call in the paint. College does not. No zone in the NBA because of this. Pack the paint. Good luck shooting 25+ 3's a game. Better hope 10-12 fall.

    Duke has arguably the 3 best NBA prospects, they are very talented kids, but they are all wings. UK has more depth, more experience, and more balance, and still a wealth of talent. I wouldn't trade our roster for anybody's.

    Luke Maye hits a wide open mid-range jumper in the Elite 8 and all of the sudden people tout him as a preseason all-american. Guy is the most overrated player I've ever seen. Decent at best.
