    Who goes to UofL instead of UK where your previous coach went if that coach actually wanted you there with him????? Not hard to figure out. The Cards are DESPERATE for players and probably offered the kid MUCH MORE than what he is actually worth. Good for the kid AND good for UK.

    Mark Pope no longer has to rely on veteran players that have deficiencies. This kid was NOT UK material and Coach Pope knew it. This should tell everyone that we are in on kids that are MUCH better. Now JQ is a totally different story!! Would LOVE to keep him!!

    Sure is. But there is no other system he could play in that matches his strengths better than Mark Pope's. Hurley already ADMITTED that Freshmen do NOT play a major role in his program, Self has 3 other players at his position and Cal contacting him is a JOKE!! Just hope he gives UK a shot.

    May be, but we no longer have a coach that is beholden to those players “handlers” to a point where actually WINNING GAMES is secondary to NBA Draft status!!! Starting positions and playing time WON’T be a given to the top NBA prospects over those that are ACTUALLY better!! Can’t wait to see...
