    To add a few things. Football is won in the trenches. There is a reason why Alabama recruits tackles (not guards) for their offensive line. There is also a reason why Ohio state had 19 defensive ends on roster. Skill players are "easy" to find, but to be elite you need to have elite linemen.

    If it happens, and that's in general, I think it happens from high school to and including redshirt year. After that I don't see any programs being stupid enough.
