Having Davis become the next face of the NBA has got to help us I would think. Next year, counting endorsements, he is going to be pulling in over 30M.

It can't hurt, but doubt it'll play a major part at all. Has the success of a more popular and more successful (so far) Kevin Durant helped Texas? I was at the EYBL and all these kids were wearing KD's, KD backpacks. Plus I think we already have a game changer in recruiting, coach Cal.

You would think so, it helped North Carolina and still does, all you ever heard was that players wanted to go where Jordan went. We have had great recruiting since Cal has been here and hopefully having Davis as the next face of the NBA will only add to it.

You mean will we start brining in crappy classes? How can it be a game changer when we dominate recruiting every year?

No. But IMHO our not winning the 2015 NCAA Championship with nine McDonald's HS All-Americans plus Willie Cauley-Stein may be a game-changer in recruiting.
