He is from my neck of the woods up here in Pennsylvania. Great player but seems to be locked in on Nova at this current time. Obviously things can change with a UK offer. Super athletic combo guard who can really stroke it.

A backcourt of Young and Walker would give us two of the best three shooters in the class.

saw this kid in person in the state playoffs. love his game

smooth, athletic, and was very smart/unselfish. excellent vision for a 2 guard. form/range on his jumper was very good

would love to see him at uk but nova seems like a perfect fit for him

i was pulling for reading because of how walker has stuck with his childhood friends and his hometown school

obviously it hasn't kept him from being highly recruited

Absolutely incorrect. Young is a very good shooter. And AAU shooting is always terrible whether you want to believe it or not. Devon Booker shot 33% in AAU before hitting 41% for us. Jalen Brunson hit 27% before hitting 39% for Nova. Miles Bridges hit 29% despite shooting 46% in the regular season. Everybody is trying to show off in eybl and their inexperience kills them. Think about Jamal Murray. He didn't play AAU but he kinda illustrates the point. This past season he basically played like an AAU player for 10 games; just running and gunning wherever he pleased; and shot under 30%. Then Cal taught him which shots to take and which not to & helped him learn to have a little more control. And he became one of the best shooters we've had in a long time. Now I don't know if Young will shoot for 45% or whatever but you absolutely can't make a final judgement on a guy by AAU stats.

This is very inaccurate. You need to watch AAU ball more or not comment on the game.

Even in college- the best college shooter I ever watched (arguable, I know but he's at least in the conversation) was JJ Redick, who NEVER shot better than 42% at Duke.
