Guarded by his pal and #1 player in the junior class, Jayson Tatum, V.J. showed why he is being pursued by so many teams. Listed by some services as a SF, but if 6'-6" is accurate I would rather see him as a SG. Loves to take it to the hole, scoring 22 of his 38 points in the paint. On 5 for 10 shooting, had 15 points in 1st half. On a couple shots, used pump fake and floater in the lane. Getting 3 of his shots blocked did not deter him from going inside. Quick off his feet, getting 4 of his 5 rebounds off the offensive board. He is definitely a scorer on a Paul VI team that is too small and didn't play a lot of D today. Wouldn't mind him at the 2 and Tatum at the 3 for the Cats!
