UK vs Arky (gm 1)...

Cats trail Hogs 4-1 in the bottom of the 5th. Arky struck first in bottom of 1st, Cats tied it in the top of the 2nd, but the hogs have increased their lead to 4-1 over the 1st half of the game.

Shelby leads off the top of the 6th with a double, Hairston walks, and then Bernal hits into a double play,(surprise, surprise), and then Wilson grounds out. Typical UK inning, blowing chances to get runs back.

Cats cut the lead to 4-3 in the top of the 7th, but miss a golden oppourtunity with the bases loaded and only 1 out to take the lead as Hairston strikes out and Bernal pops out to end the inning.

Yea but then Hendo runs a pitcher back out who has a pitch count over a 100 and the first batter puts one over the right field fence! Next batter walks on 4 pitches and Hendo finally goes to the pen.

Cats lose 5-3!

That is some real coaching right there ! Feel bad for Zack Brown, but UK cannot get the clutch hit to help themselves.
